Comprehensive Eye Examinations
We carefully examine your eyes for eye diseases, eye coordination difficulties and focussing errors. Should a deficit be found, possible solutions are discussed with you, and the right course of action is decided upon based on your specific history, needs and desires.

Spectacle Dispensing
We have one of the most experience optical dispensing teams in the State. Being independent, we choose our frame and lens suppliers based on quality and performance, rather than choosing by profit margin. Our focus in helping you choose spectacles is finding the best option for you – factors including your face shape, your fashion style, your budget and your lifestyle are taken into account. We have about 800 frames to choose from at each location, and can source any lens from any supplier to give you the best optical and cosmetic performance.

Contact Lens Prescribing
Adelaide Eye Care is one of the biggest specialty contact lens practices in Australia. We prescribe all types of contact lenses for all sorts of eyes – daily disposables, continuous wear, rigid gas permeables, mini-sclerals, Synergeyes hybrid lenses, Orthokeratology, keratoconus lenses and post-corneal graft contact lenses. We frequently trial new products for manufacturers prior to general release and other practitioners frequently refer their difficult contact lens cases to us to manage.  If you have been told that you can't wear contact lenses, come and consult us.

Children’s Vision Assessments/Behavioural Optometry
Our optometrists, Helen Keen and Jennifer Dickenson are our children’s vision experts. Jennifer consults at Blackwood, and Helen consults at all three branches. Their passion is to help kids with their eyesight, eye coordination and visual perception problems, especially when vision is involved in holding back school performance. We have one of Adelaide’s biggest range of children’s frames, and an exceptional ‘glasses for kids’ offer to give peace of mind to parents.
